Cooper’s UX Boot Camp is an intensive, immersive four-day design training class for design practitioners, developers, product managers, marketers, usability professionals, and decision-makers who have some product design experience but want to take their skills to the next level. Students learn Cooper’s goal-directed design process while working on a real-world product for a nonprofit organization. In this particular UX Boot Camp, students will work with American Public Media's Marketplace Money, a weekly public radio program about finances, to transform the experience of radio. They'll come up with new tools and models for engagement that encourage multi-platform participation, crowd-sourced content, and an entirely new type of relationship between listeners and show host. Learn more here.

The class is built around hands-on activities, conducted in pairs and small teams. At the end of the course, students gain new skills and a well-articulated design concept for a real product for their portfolios. Hear what past students had to say about the training themselves.
